Chasing PP points
Industrial Sector Client needed to increase its performance on its ESD score. The full ESD budget was being spent each year earning the full 15 points. It was preferential procurement that was the challenge.
Aurik worked with this client to identify opportunities that had depth of service and supply futures within the core business. 12 SME’s were eventually engaged and placed on a skill and scale business development programme. Funding was provided as these businesses grew up the growth curve over an 18 month period to deliver a 92,7% procurement increase, taking all of these QSE’s into the generic category and earning an additional 4,1 PP points.
